Connect ChatGPT or Claude to Lore
Lore connects to your AI through a hosted MCP server. There is nothing to install and no key to copy: add Lore’s URL as a connector and sign in with the same account as in the app.
Before you start
- A Lore account and Lore Pro (needed to connect the app to your AI).
- A ChatGPT or Claude account. In ChatGPT, adding a custom connector currently needs developer mode, which requires a paid plan. In Claude, add it under Settings, Connectors.
- The server URL shown in the app under Settings, Connect your AI (the same as the URL below).

- In claude.ai or the Claude app, open Settings, Connectors and choose Add custom connector.
- Enter Lore as the name and the URL above, then add it.
- Press Connect, sign in with the same account as in Lore and allow access.
Connect with ChatGPT
- Open Settings, Apps & Connectors, turn on developer mode and create a new connector.
- Enter the URL above as the MCP server URL and choose OAuth for authentication.
- Sign in with the same account as in Lore and allow access.
Daily delivery
Daily delivery is set up as a scheduled task on the AI side. Installing this app alone doesn't bring news.
You can ask your AI for a new article each morning, or, if your AI service offers scheduled tasks, set one to run the same request every morning. Whether scheduled tasks are available depends on the service and your plan, so check yours.
What to ask once it is connected
Once connected, you can ask your AI things like these.
- “Write an intro to behavioral economics and save it to Lore”
- “Summarize today's tech news and send it to Lore”
- “Rewrite the articles behind my missed Lore questions more simply”
How to disconnect
Remove Lore in your AI’s connector settings. You can delete your Lore data in the app under Delete account.
If it does not connect, email support with the name of your AI, your plan and the message you see. Never send your password. support@protoductai.com
